Title: To be or not to be, that is the question

To be, or not to be, that is the question!

Everyone has read or heard those words from Hamlets soliloquy but I believe the more profound part is what follows:

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,

Or to take arms against a sea of troubles

And by opposing end them.

These simple words create so many metaphors and reminders that have helped me in dealing with my BPD ex and mother of my child... .

As I see it:

I've said many times on this page; Suffering or emotional pain is a self inflicted injury that only exists and is created in your mind.

Taking arms against a sea of trouble with expectations of ending it, is the struggle we all have loving someone with BPD, it's battling an ocean with expectations the tides will change but the ocean does what the ocean wants regardless of your interventions.
