Title: My husband has BPD
Post by: MargoD on November 15, 2014, 10:28:18 AM
I don't have any time right now. Have to go to work. I know my husband has BPD just from my own research and some years together. I adore him and the love he has for me is palpable no matter what, and we have been through a lot! I know this behavior is not what's in his heart. I can see it his agony. I am getting tired, though, losing control and reacting, because I'm worn out. He always starts trouble with me at the holidays, as if he wants to push me away. Don't know if I can manage this time. I will check back for your comments.

 *welcome*

Hi MargoD,

I would like to welcome you. I'm sorry to hear that things ate difficult with your H. It's frustrating, stressful and you're left feeling worn out . Many of our members share a similar experience and can offer guidance and support. There is hope. Do you have children? Are you both in T?

The Holidays and cold weather seem to cause havoc with my husband as well. Some of his life changing trauma happened in December right before Christmas so to be expected, he's not always a happy camper around this time of year. It does get exhausting and now I just wish this time of year would pass us so we can get back to normal crazy instead of intensified and more depressed crazy. Try to take some time for yourself, make sure you get to relax in some way or do something for you, buy something for you. The most important thing we can do for ourselves is to take care of ourselves.
