Title: Going crazy trying to build the relationship.
Post by: Moselle on November 16, 2014, 03:26:28 AM
After 10 months separation. I'm trying to rebuild. It must be the most frustrating thing I've ever tried.

Balancing "Getting on with my life" with trying to build a relationship with my BPD/NPD wife.

Her attitude is "It's your fault, so you do the work, and look after my needs"

Any tips for improving this?

Hi Moselle,

Frustrating can be an understatement when trying to juggle everything, taking on someone else's issues as our own

I think I'd try to get into the mindset of not 'building' a relationship, as much as laying the foundation; leading by example.

Live the life you want to live that includes her in it, comfortably.

123Phoebe, thanks for that advice. It's so easy to get lost in the frustration of thinking about what she's doing. That I forget what I should be doing. Accepting accountability for my life and the way I live it.
