Title: My Wife shows traits of BPD, I am on my knees and not sure how to get help Post by: syedys on November 21, 2014, 12:20:16 PM My Wife is showing symptoms of BPD. Apparently she is stage four coz she hates me now and believes that all the trouble in life is because of me and only leaving me will solove the problem. I love her and my 3 yr old son and I do not want to loose her.
Not sure how to convince her to go to doc since it is completely walled environment and she doesnt trust me at all. They will not likely believe they have an illness. Check out the book, "I Am Not Sick. I Don't Need Help!" by Xavier Amador. It refers to other conditions, but it applies to BPD as well. Good luck.
