Title: It's times like these.
Post by: Sandman1881 on November 25, 2014, 10:30:03 PM
When your about to jump in bed and you realize just one more time for today that you're the one that was abandoned, and you're the one that was left alone. And then you can't help but think of her and her new man doing the same. And you try the best you can to forgive and to continue to heal while you continue to burn. If they could only read our thoughts and not our faces. If they could only see how deeply we are wounded from what they have done to us. If only they didn't do to us what they feared the most for themselves. Then you finally realize just how much this truly sucks to be going through and you're just not sure how long it will take or if you're ruined for life or not. And then you try to sleep again and spend another whole night thinking to God and asking him for understanding and mercy and wondering why this has happened and why he allowed us to fall so deep and to fall so far for this person, this love of ours, we, for some reason that is unknown to us, simply just can't forget.

Good night my brothers and sisters. Sleep well.

Sandman, God is not going to take you around your troubles, or divert them from you, He will take you THROUGH your troubles. Just be patient and let your emotions heal.

I am thankful that God gave me the power to walk from the relationship. On my own I couldn't do it. I tried many times. I think God brings suffering to our lives, so we can appreciate what He has in store for us. A real love with true commitment. Not a dysfunctional relationship with someone sucking the life out us.

Just believe... .|iiii
