Title: Things have been weirdly calm...
Post by: LilHurt420 on December 03, 2014, 03:24:59 PM
I haven't been on in a while and things have been weirdly calm.  Almost eerily.  They went from uBPDh being completely crazy, irrational, abusive, etc to being completely calm after me leaving for a weekend going to my moms.

I suspect it's because I'm pregnant (due any day now), but now I fear what could happen after I have the baby.  Will he go back to his BPD ways?  If he was able to stay calm for this long (it's been since the end of August) without therapy or medication, then surely he should be able to control himself all the time?

Anyone dealt with a long period of calmness followed by dysregulations again?

Yep... I now have long periods of calm... but the dysregulations seem "weirder".

Partly because they are... .I mean... my wife sent me a naked picture of another woman (20 years married... never done this before).  When I asked her to not send any more... she flipped out... .muttering... .stomping around... .WOW.

And partly because after long periods of calm... .it is shocking to see an adult act that way.

Focus on the glass half full... .focus on the lack of dysregulation... .rather than the few that still happen.
