Title: My uBPDw says I am a "stranger" and that she doesn't "know" me
Post by: terranova79 on December 07, 2014, 07:37:11 PM
Hi everyone,

My marriage to my uBPDw has been really rough lately.  Before my recent three day trip to visit my parents, my uBPDw started acting odd and accused me of planning to not come back from my trip and abandon her.  She has also started saying that I am a "stranger" and that she does not "know" me any more.  I understand we are going through a horrible patch, but I thought her choice of language was odd and sounded like she was losing touch with reality. Has anyone else here experienced anything similar?

Thanks

Yes,  mine behaved like this for a few weeks after we split,  she would literally call me and introduce herself like a stranger and depersonalize me.

It's just a childish manipulation tactic that she stopped doing when I just ignored it.
