Title: Baffled... So Many Among Us
Post by: TAR on December 09, 2014, 10:19:03 PM
I'm baffled in a new way, just in the few days I've been on this site, it scares me to death knowing there are so many here seeking help and support which in turn says there are so many BPDs out there among us.  I'm still in the throes of getting myself back together and getting away for good so I'm hardly thinking about another relationship right now.  But does anyone fear getting back out there and falling victim of yet another individual who has the capacity to swoop you in, off your feet, only to begin the torment again?

This is coming from a guy whos exs all are all somewhat PD. Since im dNPD i kinda attact them... yay me!

Anyways best advice hone your detection skills, know the signs and    to watch out for and above all else run like hell if you use the first one i mentioned and pick up on the second!

Thanks for that advice, but here's the even scarier part... .I was healthy when I met him, saw the signs and red flags within the first weeks, ignored, denied, swooned, and swept away until I became nothing but mere dust swept under the carpet.  It's sad to know there are so many people out there afflicted with such cold, heartless, crippling, degrading, dark, and void souls.  Worse yet, if they need help, they can't even admit or help themselves and end up destroying the good hearts.  It's like a viral infestation all in itself.

I agree and it's scary how many ppl are so heartless these days. I also ignored the red flags because I'm a very compassionate person. This experience makes me not want to care so much so fast for anyone. I am still in shock how my xBPDbf could talk so cruel to me. He hates me right now for no reason. It hurts and I have been really depressed over this.
