Post by: evilpepsi on December 13, 2014, 09:24:02 PM Not sure if it's been mentioned on here before or not, but the singer for blue October suffers from BPD and chronicles it in every song. "Hate me" is pretty much the reverse perspective of What we are all going through, and "ugly side" is pretty much his confession to someone that he loves.
If you ever get the chance to see them live then don't miss it. I cut my teeth playing in hair bands and after spending 15 years in music, I can't think of too many singers that give a more emotional performance... . Title: Re: BPD set to music. blue october. "Hate Me" reminds me a lot of my exBPDbf, who's said very similar things to me. (Also very familiar were "Sexual Powertrip" and "She's My Ride Home."

In a way, she said things to me that made it seem as if she was trying to get me to hate her. The night she broke up with me, I cried like a baby. She said, "look at all I've done to you." I would still do anything for her. I know I would.
