Title: Ignoring the Papers
Post by: Mike76 on December 15, 2014, 07:02:12 AM

First of we are in the same house that complicates things.

I shared with my wife I wanted a divorce last December(2013), and then finally gave a letter in the Summer of this this year(2014) explaining process and that I wanted to with a mediator.   She has refused to talk about it, so I officially filed and she received the papers this past weekend. She is pretending like everything is fine, and just stated I am not done fighting for our marriage.

I know how to legally proceed, but has anyone experienced people just ignoring the divorcing conversations.

I only had a short version of this, and I was out of the house and had a lawyer communicate on my behalf. After months and years of telling me he wanted a divorce, N/BPDx had a change of heart after I left. Suddenly, he wanted to try marriage counseling.

But dealing in general with BPD obstructions and stonewalling became my special talent  :)

Does your wife have more waif traits?
