WHAT IS BLACK? Black is the color my babe painted me Black is the color of the bottom of the deep blue sea Black is so lonely never knowing where to go Black is my face now look through me and you'll know White is the true way that I so want to feel Smothered in love, raised up and once again feeling real Why did this happen? You were so good for me I thought your love was real not an addiction forced to be Black is a devil slithering naked on the ground White is the angel I once thought that I had found Watch me as I grab the colors circling on the wheel I'll change this paint, I'll fight for it, I'll show that I can heal For inside me is a glow of light just dying to come through And love is there and now I know it's really not for you MERRY CHRISTMAS! |
