I assure you she has not told any of the men she has dated since she unceremoniously dumped me that she spent her last 9.5 years in a relationship with a woman. She never told but one of HER friends that she was with a woman. Her mother confronted her last Xmas and she told her I was just her friend. I know now that that is what began the devaluation stage. Clearly at 46 she would rather her mother direct her life than she herself. That way she doesn't have to take any blame when it all goes south. What a terrible way to have to live your mother's life... .
