Title: Is it just me...
Post by: fred6 on December 27, 2014, 08:12:21 PM
Is it just me or do most all of the women on dating sites look just plain nuts. I was on a couple dating sites a little while ago a lot of pictures on there have a Jekyll & Hyde appearance to them and crazy soulless eyes. I hate to generalize about all women, but most of them just seemed "OFF" in some way. And if their pictures weren't strange, what they typed was strange. I never really noticed this back when I was doing the online dating thing a few years ago. Maybe this whole thing with exBPD has skewed my perceptions of the opposite sex. Unlike my exgf, obviously I'm not ready to date anyone yet. I couldn't imagine going from our relationship straight into another one, that would just seem kind of weird to me.

lol Fred I'm kinda with ya on this one but from the opposite direction.  Wow, I hope I don't look or sound crazy, but I'm back online.  I too am viewing the males through a VERY new lens since my fallout with a PD ex.  I haven't been online in over 7 years and people definitely meet in person sooner, so that I think is a plus.  I used to be really into witty or well worded profiles - now I take it all with a grain of salt and know that actual behaviors and TIME will reveal what I need to know, see, and feel…that must be uniquely separate from what I experienced with my ex.

It aint gonna be easy    I look forward to hearing more about your adventures:)
