Title: Searching for help
Post by: sunshineandpeace on December 30, 2014, 05:58:04 AM
I have always struggled with my relationship with my sister.

I love her dearly, but she has exhausted me. I will always be there for her no matter how she treats my mom or me. I am searching for coping skills and boundaries to set up so I can keep a wonderful relationship with her without me being treated unfairly.

Hi sunshineandpeace,

You've come to the right place for support! Many people here have struggled with relationships with loved ones (my mother has BPD) and setting boundaries.

What kinds of upsetting behaviors do you see in your sister? What kinds of boundaries do you think you need to set with her?

You'll find others here who understand the exhaustion you're feeling. Hang in there, and keep posting--it does help.
