Title: Introduction
Post by: Lady Sirrah on December 31, 2014, 10:05:21 PM
I am new to borderline disorder. My husband was only recently diagnosed. I am looking for a support site/group for people who are in a relationship and are taking that leap of faith. My goal is to heal myself from all the abuse I have endured and at the same time support my husband in his recovery. It may take awhile, I realize. I also realize that there are going to be hard times, doubtful times and I would like to be able to speak with others in similar situations. Am I in the right place?

  *welcome* *welcome* *welcome* *welcome*

You are in the right place!

I'm sorry you have had a tough time of it... .but it will get better.  Please look to the right of the screen on the staying board... .do you see the lessons.

Start reading!  Expect to ready them many... .many times.

Just know this... .you are not alone.  Finding others that shared the feelings and experiences that I was going through was empowering... .uplifting.

So... read some lessons.

And... .let us know some more detail about what is going on in your life.

It is good that you have a diagnosis.  Does you husband accept the diagnosis?  Is there treatment?

Welcome and it is good to hear that you already appreciate the process is to heal and work on your own interactions first of all, so that you may be able to provide better support.

You are also correct to understand there will steps back as well as forward
