Title: New to this sort of thing
Post by: Tanmir Ferox on January 07, 2015, 01:39:03 AM
New to all of this thread business, but I suppose I should start with a few basic facts about me. I am 21 (male) and have been in the US army since 2011. My wife has been diagnosed with BPD, bipolar, PTSD, and Major depressive disorder. I am doing all I can to learn more and be supportive but it can be really hard at times. I am hoping this group will help at the times when I need it. =)

Welcome Tanmir. Make sure you post something similar on the introduce yourself board. I have an udiagnosed fiance with def Bpd traits and have found these boards really useful. You must be living a rollercoaster life like the rest of us. I feel that knowledge is definitely the key and am soaking up as much as I can. Some good days... .some bad days. Share as much as you want and I have found some really good advice on how to look after my own mental health. Best of luck to you!

 *welcome*

Be sure to check out the menu on the right side of the page listing the "Lessons" and the "Before you can make anything better" links.  Great first steps to learn.

Glad your here!
