Title: Does it matter who initiates a recycle in order to qualify as a recycle? Post by: JRT on February 09, 2015, 09:19:04 AM I read a thread that made me curious about this... .in all of mine, although she had sent a token of sorts, it could almost have been dismissed (in one recycle, she had sent me the user name and password to a website she managed for me. The natural course of action, of course, was for me to return contact). But what about in cases where the non does so?

Even if the non initiates it the pwBPD has to approve it. It probably seem pwBPD initiate more as nons are more likely to say yes to it than pwBPD.

Post by: Tim300 on February 10, 2015, 10:10:47 AM I guess I would tend to think of it in terms of "we recycled" or "they recycled" as opposed to "he recycled" or "she recycled". That is, I would think of it as a joint thing.
Relationships are complicated though. Perhaps if there was a scenario where one partner said "I will always be available whenever you want to come and go" and the other person was coming and going, then maybe you could view recycles as more unilateral in nature. |
