Title: Had a minor setback
Post by: clydegriffith on February 16, 2015, 10:20:06 AM
BPDx does a very good job of pushing my buttons and i sometimes make matters worse by engaging her which kind of throws gasoline on the fire. Now i know i shouldnt do this but its really, really hard not to do so sometimes especially when she's trying to pull a fast one on me. Grrrr. Had to vent.

So what did you learn?  How can you use this moving forward?

I am with you on this- I totally understand. I am a very verbal person, and I have no reservation about voicing my opinion. He knows this. He picks something he knows will get a reaction because I can't keep my lips sealed. It's manipulation.

I'm sorry! I wish I had some magic words that could help you... .but sometimes just knowing you are not alone and no the crazy one helps me.

You are not alone.

You are not the crazy one!

Well i'm much better now at holding my tounge than i had been in the past. She just tried to do something so sneaky recently that i couldn't stay quite about it and well that opened the flood gates. I have a child with this woman and unfortunatley have to deal with her sometimes.

Haha, i see you share my pain. It's funny that even after educating myself on BPD and knowing what i do, instances like these can STILL have me thinking like i'm the crazy one.

I know! They just need that one tiny millimeter... .not even a whole inch... .just a little crack in your dam and they will flood the whole city.
