Title: phone calls Post by: Eco on March 11, 2015, 10:49:39 PM as wondering if anyone has kids that you call when they are with the other parent and are around 2 yrs old?
when I call my daughter she likes to hang the phone up after a few seconds, im pretty sure my ex isn't hanging the phone up because when my ex calls to talk to her my daughter hangs up on her to. any one else have this happen? I know she is only two so im not to concerned just curious. also I was thinking about doing Skype with her but I wasn't sure if she was to young for that. I don't want to confuse her. If your daughter just turned 2, it's probable that she was punching buttons and hung up on you. I went through this the past year with D3 in a month. She's still a baby :) My Ex and I have an agreement to not call the OP on our time unless the kids ask. Contact isnt in the stipulation. We have them 3-2-2-3, the 3s being Friday night through Monday morning. It caused problems by 3 months in, mostly with then S4. Kids want stability, and I think that the nghtly calls reminded the kids even more of the pain of not having the OP there, so we stopped them. Their mom kept pressuring me to skype, but I would have had to ssupervise it. Plus, if they had issues with calls, how much more would Skype introduce? It's so tough being seperated from our children, Eco, but I make the most of the time I have with them, the Interloper and uBPDx notwithstanding.
