Title: Hello.
Post by: Angie85 on March 12, 2015, 02:25:21 PM
Hello... .My husband has BPD, we have been together for 8 years and have 2 wonderful boys. It is really hard for me to deal with his disorder because he is not taking any kind of treatment, we both are studying psychology, and I feel it is helping me to understand more the situation and my feelings but not to understand my husband. I feel very guilty because I just want to quit and end my marriage. I love him very much, but I am so tired and hurt, I dont know what to do in order to stay with him without suffering so much pain and anxiety because of his condition

You've come to the right place!  Try reading the lessons here and some of the suggested books.  Stop Walking on Eggshells by Mason & Kreger was a great starting point for me.  Posting here has given me insight into myself as well as my husband (undiagnosed BPD)  As the saying goes... .before you can make anything better, you must stop making it worse.

Hello, there & *welcome*

I'm so very sorry for all the pain and sadness you have been going through, and I'd like to join Rockylove in suggesting that you read all of the links to the right-hand side of this page. The Lessons will really give you a very good understanding on how your husband's mind works, and just what you can do to deal with him better.

We also have several Feature Articles (https://bpdfamily.com/portfolio-4-cols) (also found at the links under the 4 photos at the top of the Staying Boards thread listing page) that would be very eye-opening and helpful to you with great insights and tips on making things better in your relationship. I've read them all, and each one is beneficial... .

You are not alone; everyone posting on the Staying Board knows exactly what you are going through, and are very willing to share his/her experiences and advice. I'm very glad you have found us, and hope that you tell us more of your story so we can help
