Title: A prayer for my son and his children Post by: Dibdob59 on March 16, 2015, 01:57:22 PM I know many of you here are from a spiritual background. I was not raised as such, my mother died when I was a child and my father was angry and blamed God.
I have my own spiritual beliefs and know there is a higher power. But tonight I am at rock bottom. I am so tired of holding it all together and being the hub of my family's wheel. As I write my UBPDS ex partner (UNPD) is raging in texts saying that he and our family can never see his 6 year old son again because we couldn't suddenly drop everything to pick him up from school unexpectedly. We all work full time and simply couldn't manage it. This has resulted in a massive text war between my UBPDS and his ex with my GS6 caught in the middle. I have never asked this of anyone before but I know the faith community here is strong. I am asking for your prayers for my son and his children. BPD is slowly but surely consuming their lives and I feel powerless and overwhelmed at the constant fear of what comes next. The threats and drama are incessant and the children just seem to pay the price of suffering Dibdob Title: Re: A prayer for my son and his children Post by: lbjnltx on March 16, 2015, 04:48:29 PM Dear Heavenly Father, please hold in the palm of your hand this family in chaos. Please protect this innocent child from harm and hide his soul in the cleft of the rock. Dear God, please comfort this Grandmother and give her the strength to endure this hardship. Bless her with the gifts of compassion, discernment and perseverance. Give her the peace that passes all understanding and let her become a peacemaker that she will know peace and share it with her family.
In His precious and Holy Name I pray. Title: Re: A prayer for my son and his children Post by: tjay933 on March 16, 2015, 05:10:31 PM sounds like you are in a really tough place right now. I'm sorry you are in this position. I feel for you and your GS. Sounds like you may be one of his few non-BPDs in his life? if this is so, is there any way you can find to bond with him to help him cope with all the turmoil, maybe take him for a few hours each week just so he can get away from it all. make up any excuse you like. if there are any other non-BPDs in his life, can they help give him a break too. while you are with him let him know how much you love him and think of him regularly? imo-that is necessary for his emotional growth/health.

It is not about how you were raised as much as where you are now. Being at "rock bottom" with believing in a "higher power" and asking for prayer is when you actually give God the permission to act and intervene on your behalf. God is a "gentleman" who eagerly waits for us to reach out to Him and ask for His help.
Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up in prayer to you, Dibdob59, her son, his children and all of the loved one's involved. They need your mighty hand to act on their behalf and rescue them.  :)eliver them from the turmoil and disunity that they have been experiencing. Bring order to the disorder and unity, reconciliation/restoration of relationships. Grant them peace, comfort and strength that surpasses all understanding. Keep your hand of protection over each one of them. Let them all feel your loving arms wrap around each one of them to lift them above the circumstances.  :)raw near to them and draw them nearer to you with truth and revelation. In Jesus name, amen. If thoughts have power positive thoughts are being sent to you and your family.
