Awesome... .first 10 are the hardest. I'm on day 35... .again. Just be sure that you are doing N/C for yourself and not as a hidden agenda. I did that the first time in hopes that my distance would bring her back. It did, but nothing changed.

It has taken me the first two weeks after the break up to understand what no contact really means. At first I thought no contact meant no face to face talk, no phone calls, no email or texts. Now I realize that it really means no looking at their FB or going through old emails or looking at any keepsakes. It means scrubbing your environment of anything that triggers an emotional response and obstructs the healing process. At least that's how I'm experiencing it. I find the longer I go without any triggers, the better I feel.

Way to go.  Keep going!  I just made it to the one year mark. Limited contact in my situation because we have a child together.  But I wanted to let you know that although it's hard, it is definitely worth it.  Once the fog starts to clear you can focus on getting your life back.  Best of luck to you!
