Title: Add Questions for Short Sale Attorney Please ~ Post by: Hope0807 on April 22, 2015, 12:46:49 PM Short sale procedures are getting completed…already signed contract. My realtor has assigned me and the PDexH an attorney (for this real estate transaction). I'm meeting with the attorney today. All I know to ask/confirm is that the attorney will make sure the short sale contract gets the lender to include a Waiver…waiving their right to come after me for the deficiency after the sale of the home.
Can you think of anything else? I'm also guessing that I'll get some kind of bill from the attorney after all this is over? I'm sick to my stomach over my level of ignorance about this whole process with such a disordered person on the opposite end of this major transaction. Trying to stay calm. Please recommend any questions you think I should ask the attorney regarding this real estate matter. Thanks to ALL in advance. Can't WAIT to get this house of my plate! |
