Title: Marital home facing foreclosure - he is in new home.
Post by: Hope0807 on April 23, 2015, 09:23:19 PM
Lots of deep breathing going on these days.  Marital home foreclosure on the horizon and short sale proceedings in the works…yet just discovered exPDh is listed on the deed and co-buyer of the half million dollar home he's currently living in with one of his resources.

He's unemployed and operating a business where he collects TONS of cash and reports NONE of it to the IRS.

He did empty out his 100k annuity late in 2014, but other than that he has no provable income.

Please tell me how it's possible for a person like this to wind up as co-owner of new home?

Hi Hope, Sorry about the short sale and potential foreclosure. How did you discover that he is co-owner on a home?

Sorry to hear about the short sale Hope0807  It's not fair.

.5 Mil home

Unemployed

Not reporting cash to IRS

It raises red-flag's and begs to question how long until he shows up on a radar.

I found out by typing his new address into google.  The sale is public info and he's listed as co-owner.

How is it possible that he can own a second home if he stopped paying the mortgage on the other one and does not have a job (that he reports income to the IRS on)?

This is puzzling? Do you have an attorney?

I do have a divorce attorney and the divorce is done…along with my payments to them.  I don't think they would have any answers about how/why my ex's name is listed as a co-owner on a half million dollar (second) home. I also doubt my divorce attorney would have a reason to respond to my inquiry as there's nothing for them to do about it either way.
