Title: What are some of the better inpatient BPD places? Post by: hurthusband on May 20, 2015, 03:13:28 PM My wife is talking about needing inpatient or at least intensive outpatient help. Between the BPD, grief, and all sorts of emotions she is not functioning.
My question though is where is the place to send her to get the best help. I know BPD needs a bit of an experienced hand to deal with or it can do more harm than good. I found a few places, but they are all out of network with insurance so it would be kind of nice to know if they are helpful before forking out $10k
The docs I have talked to have said they really do not have alot of experience with BPD and these facilities. I was told Menninger's was great, but it is a hospital.
