Title: left work crying Post by: rarsweet on May 30, 2015, 07:52:06 PM I work in a restaurant. Tonight there were some people with a little girl. They were so mean to her it just broke my heart. I ended up snapping at my boss and leaving early bawling like a crazy lady. I can't take people who don't appreciate their kids, I really really can't. Is this what I'm going to be like. So sensitive I lose it in public. The little girl forgot her 2 bracelets at the table when they left. Just 2 rubber bracelets, but I took them home. I feel like a basketcase right now

They are opposite of what we do as nons to keep our kids from PA and brainwashing that spouses impose on them. It builds stress too. Maybe ask your boss, what can you do ,or not do , when this situtation arrisses again. Title: Re: left work crying Post by: livednlearned on June 02, 2015, 06:37:44 PM I feel the same way :'(
Some days when I feel my son has had a rough childhood, I realize he has a cake walk compared to some of the cases I saw in family court while waiting my turn. My L said there are days she can barely walk to her car, hearing some of the things kids have to experience. She said family law judges in particular have to rotate off the bench because the intensity gets to them, especially the stories about kids. I can only imagine. You're in the early stages of your custody battle when emotionally it's particularly draining. It does get better, not in a linear line all the time, sometimes it's two steps forward, one back. But it does get better. |
