hi my uBPDw has nightmares about letting people down and they being consumed by a zombie apocalypse. because she didn't know what she was doing and was paralyzed by fear.

Stop watching The Walking Dead?

Seriously, they are her dreams. Other than reassure her that it was only a dream if she wakes up distressed, there isn't much anyone can do about what we or someone else dreams of. This is something she can discuss with a T. It seems that she is fearful and anxious and it is playing out in her dreams, but why and what this is about is not something anyone else can help her with.

I don't have any advice but something similar happened to me and my wife many years ago. She had a bad dream and was actually hitting and pinching me in her sleep. The next morning after we woke up I asked her about what she was dreaming because she was hitting me. She told me that I was being mean to her in her dream. I didnt think much about it because it was just a dream. She stayed mad at me for a week because of what I did in her dream.

Holy Crap !   Same here... .  More than a couple of times. 

I can Laugh about it now... .  But back then... .Imagine being forced to apologize for something I did... .in HER DREAM... .  Talk about a mind screw.

Yep, I did learn that laughing didn't make things better only worse. Sadly it was a red flag that I was too young and ignorant to see. I've only learned about this stuff after 20 years of everything being my fault.
