Title: Had to be the buffer tonight Post by: Hmcbart on June 18, 2015, 09:45:03 PM After everything that happened today it got worse.
The text she sent me was a bad omen. She walks in the door with s12 from a merit badge class raging about him and how I have to go to every class with him and camp next week. He can't even remember xyz about tonight's class. On and on and on... .he was in tears and I could tell she had done a good job of mentally bashing him. I interceded and put a stop to it as politely as I could but she was extremely upset at me for doing it. She said a few choice words to me and I actually remained calm. She went upstairs and threw something followed by what sounded like doors slamming. I kept the boys down stairs and we watched a movie while she went to the bathroom to hide (I'm guessing because I didn't go up there). She sounds calmer now while talking to them now. I am pretty sure when I go upstairs this is far from over. I deflected the anger from s12 onto myself so im just waiting for the explosion. I didn't have to watch it happen long before I stopped it. I was more pleasant this time than I have been before. I wasn't in the car on the way home with them but she said she was not talking bad to him. When she walked in the house she was definitely being very mean to him. It was as bad as it has been other times but I knew from her brief text and no reply that she was angry. She has told me before that she takes out her anger at me on him. It's hasn't happened lately that I know of until tonight. |
