Title: having a bummer of a day Post by: Smileypants on June 30, 2015, 04:03:32 PM Not had a good day today. Felt down in the dumps. My BPD husband tried to be normal, asking what was wrong. As soon as I said I was feeling bummed out, he went into how he had his kids work on the kitchen (which my daughter does twice as much as them), he doesn't know what else he can do then he says "I guess I'm just not good enough".
I can't even state my feelings before he comes in with a defense of why it shouldn't be his fault and make it about poor him. I should know better then to talk about my feelings... . Title: Re: having a bummer of a day Post by: Lucky Jim on June 30, 2015, 05:18:21 PM Sorry to hear, Smileypants. It's OK to feel bummed out. Suggest you sit with your feelings and just observe, without the need to do anything. Those w/BPD lack empathy, in my view. It's always about them, sad to say. Be good to yourself! LJ
