Title: Positive Post: Hope you enjoy it. (best of all, it's true)

Recent medical physical: the nurse took my blood pressure, recorded it, left.

Doc came in, reviewed my chart, took my blood pressure again.

Doc face wrinkled, asked me: "Mr. Forestaken, your blood pressure has improved greatly, what changes have you made in your life?"

Me: "Got divorced"

Doc laughed "I understand, my first husband was like that!"

 :) lol

Congratulations on the improved health and freedom. Your post reminded me that the decision to let go of the pain is all on us. It's a difficult decision, but I think that's why we're all here trying to find the reasons and closure that we seek.

Have a great week everyone!

I want people out there to know that your life will improve after the r/s is over.  Life has its normal ups & downs but I no longer walk on eggshells or suffer constant turmoil.

Please everyone: You have 2 lives, you start living the second one when you realize you have only one.

Old joke along the same lines:

"Oh man, my wife ran off with my best friend."

"Well that's... .wait, I thought I was your best friend?"

"Not any more!"
