It depends on a lot of things.

Moms behaviour.

Your relationship to the child.

Childs behaviour.

Perhaps with a bit more info I could help. I have two uBPD exs. Two sons 12 & 13 with one and a two year old son with the other. My eldest are now living with me so I have a fairly full spectrum of experience.

Hi edberg,

Welcome to bpdfamily

I wanted to join enlighten me in saying hello. It sounds like you are close to a child whose mother is BPD? Is she your daughter? Do you see signs of BPD in this daughter and are drawn to better understand how you can help?

Let us know how we can help, and what kinds of behaviors you are concerned with. There are a lot of skills, tools, and lessons that help make a positive difference.
