Title: Stockholm Syndrome Post by: Ysabel on July 30, 2015, 06:56:35 AM I've begun to wonder if I was succoming to this psychological phenomenon. My BPDh got violent with my teenage sons and hasn't lived in the house for about 6 months (he's in another house on the property). In his day to day absence, the fog is lifting and I see how I have been drinking to coolade for 5 years. My self image and self worth had plummeted. I really believed his "jades" around his rages.
Something to think about. Title: Re: Stockholm Syndrome Post by: Cloudy Days on July 30, 2015, 08:13:22 AM I was once suggested a really good book called the Betrayal Bond: Breaking free of Exploitive relationships. It talks a lot about trauma bonds and why it happens.
