Title: Stockholm Syndrome

I've begun to wonder if I was succoming to this psychological phenomenon. My BPDh got violent with my teenage sons and hasn't lived in the house for about 6 months (he's in another house on the property). In his day to day absence, the fog is lifting and I see how I have been drinking to coolade for 5 years. My self image and self worth had plummeted. I really believed his "jades" around his rages.

Something to think about.

I was once suggested a really good book called the Betrayal Bond: Breaking free of Exploitive relationships. It talks a lot about trauma bonds and why it happens.

I've often thought about Stockholm Syndrome, before the FOG lifted - it can be a powerful attachment that's for sure
