Post by: llbee814 on August 05, 2015, 02:12:37 AM So, just turned 20 BPD behaviors daughter, dx'd bipolar, Ptsd, add ( but pretty much pegged as BPD by current doctor) has risen to the occassion of being a great help with her terminal stage four grandmother. Not to say there aren't other BPD blips on the radar, but without a doubt, the good is absolutely outweighing the rollercoaster b/s. I absolutely embrace radical acceptance, but have to say that I am so amazed and proud of how she is pitching in and handling what I, myself, am finding so hard to deal with as an experienced adult. Who knew? She is working so hard and succeeding with love. Just goes to show, you never know. Tough times, for sure, but unexpected blessings. There is always hope for our kiddos.

I am glad that your d20 is present and caring through this difficult process. Being present, showing love, giving care help with the letting go process. Being there for you and you for your d20... .and both of you for your mom is the definition of family. lbj |
