I am an only child with a borderline mom.  Seeking out help from this site on loving well but not being daily tormented by the actions, responses or behavior of my mom.

Hi beachgirl5

Being the child of a BPD mom can be quite challenging indeed. I am glad you are reaching out for support here, many of our members also have a parent with BPD.

Can you tell us a bit more about how your mother behaves? What does she say or do that you find most difficult to deal with?

You talk about the daily torments, that can really take its toll on you. What is your current living situation, do you live with your mom?

And has your mother perhaps been officially diagnosed with BPD and/or another disorder?

Take care and welcome to bpdfamily
