Title: NC really does work
Post by: Loosestrife on October 02, 2015, 02:42:12 AM
Hi

I'm now over 2months NC and I feel like a different person.

The most helpful words I   have held with me when my ex has tried to get back in contact were:

"Have trust in the process"

My T has suggests one more session only (strange to think that I didn't actually need any T before I got involved with BPD), I'm exercising and socialising again, and I feel great.

I've even started dating and met some wonderful nonBPDs-  which was a great reminder of what life could be in a hekathy relationship.

Thank you to all my 'family' on here that has helped/supported me. I am now in the other side and I am never going back.

Yes it really does work. I am 10 weeks out and of course I do think of her still and wonder if she will come back (again) but I am getting back to not only my old self but also a super version of my old self who I actually don't recognize but at the same time miss, if that makes sense.
