I mean my mom is a skitsophrenic. But u wouldnt know it as long as she takes her meds. Do BPD ever get better from meds therapy etc

Not from meds alone but with good therapy, it becomes far better managed to the point the traits are nil to minimum, even if the instinctive thought process remains.

Not withstanding this a relationship can be quite worthwhile if managed better with BPD traits still in evidence.

The therapies themselves have quite a high success rate the biggest issue is for pwBPD to attend and stay committed

Not quite what you asked, but after learning and developing my own skills and emotional strength, I know 'I' am better. 

So yes, 'I' have gotten better and am less codependent and less enmeshed in all the craziness.

My husband was on a medication that really seemed to help him, we had a long stint of what I would call a successful happy relationship then the medication started to make his hands go numb so he asked for a different med and he is back to his old ways. Not as bad as before but still it's pretty hard to deal with when you thought things were finally better. Things can get better but I would never expect them to be 100% better.
