Title: In the emergency room.
Post by: Cole on October 26, 2015, 03:50:55 PM
Wife called earlier screaming uncontrollably, crying and hyperventilating. Said she just cannot deal with the guilt of how she has treated me and the kids. Agreed to emergency psych evaluation, have her in ER now, could use your prayers.

Hey Cole, I've been there a bunch of times with my wife too.  I hate it  because it causes even more problems at home, with work and with child care.  But she usually comes out doing better than she was for alittle while, so it gets her out of crisis mode. Hoping it works out for her.

Hey man, this is a good thing. This is one of the first steps for her and hopefully she takes advantage of getting help. I wish my wife would agree to go to a therapist with me, or by herself, or admit to what she does as being wrong. Support her and make sure you support yourself as well. Best wishes

Thanks, everyone, for your support.

They sent her home after several doctors evaluated her. She starts the partial hospitalization plan today.

She has been thinking very clearly the last week or so and says it is like when an alcoholic sobers up and realizes what they have done. The guilt of how she has been acting the past few years was overwhelming.

Hopefully, she will stick with it.
