Title: Those awkward moments
Post by: SummerStorm on November 07, 2015, 05:02:18 PM
I thought I'd start a bit of a lighthearted topic.  We all know that pwBPD often tend to act like children/teenagers or just act plain odd sometimes.  What moment stands out to you as being a time when you thought, "Oh, wow.  This is incredibly awkward and completely embarrassing"?

Mine is when my former friend BPD, with whom I worked, sat in a box that our department was using to put old books in and said, "Look at me!  I'm a cat."

One of my co-workers then had to say, "We have to use that box, so get out of it."

Meanwhile, I just sat there the whole time, thinking, "What the heck?  You are one of the most intelligent people I've ever met.  Stop pretending to be a cat."

I felt so completely awkward and embarrassed for her.
