Title: New here and trying to figure things out
Post by: Tandm on December 02, 2015, 08:55:12 AM
My sister moved in with me unexpectedly a few months ago. We have since learned she has BPD and bipolar. I honestly feel as though I am suffocating in my own home sometimes. I'm looking for support.

Hello Tandm,

*welcome*

What's going on in your home, and what sorts of behaviors are you struggling the most with? Self-harm on her part, or fits of anger? Physicality?

Who else lives there, and how is the house dynamic? I hope to hear more and how best we can support you.

Tandm, Bipolar and BPD share a number of symptoms and are often initially confussed. What leads you to feel suffocated ? We're here to support, but let us know what's on your mind.
