Title: New to this Trying to understand BPD
Post by: understandingtakeseffort on December 02, 2015, 11:04:03 PM
Hello all. I'm in a relationship and my GF has BPD. I want this to work so I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be the man she needs me to be. However I feel so alone. Constantly being blamed for arguments and I need to find proper  coping mechanisms so I can assist her not creat more conflict. Please be kind and as honest as possible. I need to find a way to be more positive and understanding of the symptoms let alone how she reacts negatively. Thank y'all for any positive feed back.

Hi Tryingmybest123,

*welcome*

You've found the right place for support to work on your relationship. Is your gf diagnosed with BPD? If so, is she in treatment?

Whatever the case may be, here is some info which can help you get started:
