Title: christmas Post by: esmaine on December 13, 2015, 02:00:34 PM This will be the first christmas I will not have spent without my BPD daughter, I have given her the choice to come and see us and her 5 month old baby whom we care for but she must come alone and not with her partner whom my family despise after the domestic abuse he inflicted on her last year. i have had to be civil with him due to the fact he is my gd father and they are working as a couple with social services to get her back, which Id like to add is very unlikely to happen as they refuse to stop smoking weed and miss appointmnets etc. Anyway she has chosen not to come because of him as it will cause her problems, I do feel great sadness and an amount of guilt by saying they cannot come together but I dont want to upset the rest of my family. This is a massive thing for me to do, I just need some feedback on what others think about the situation, I have said they can come together on boxing day as it will just be myself and my husband here.
