I did it again. Sent him money for gas so he can bring himself and my furniture to Florida.  I told him he would have to stay with me for a few weeks  until I get paid again in mid January and can give him gas money for whenever he wants to leave.

I hope and believe we will have a good Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing him and my furniture!  Being on this site has helped educate me and be strong.

For those who wonder: BpdH is on disability and I am a teacher and work 3 jobs. His disability check isn't much and we live 550 miles apart, which is why I sent him gas money to haul my favorite 6 antique pieces to me in Florida.  It would have cost me much more for a mover, plus I get to see him.

I hope Christmas goes better than Thanksgiving.

I would enjoy some quiet time with him. I hope my work schedule is a little slack and we can spend some time just laying together and being together.

I will suspend expectations for work around the house and just enjoy his company. He is super smart. As long as he suspends the professor lecture tone for a short time.

I hope to spend some time with him at our favorite little brewery and at the beach. I live 3 miles from the beach.  Maybe we can go to the brewery for New Year's Eve and I can make snacks and we can sit outside and drink and eat.

We can watch Star Trek together while I comment on the 60's attitudes of women and we stop frequently to google questions and actor lives. We liked doing stuff like that.

It sounds like a merry Christmas to me. I don't know the background of your r/s or his behaviors though.
