Title: My adult daughter Post by: Chilli on January 10, 2016, 05:32:40 PM Hi all .So thankful for this site as I feel so alone at times dealing with my 20 year old daughter with BPD.In Ireland our mental health service is very poor especially when it comes to BPD.I asked my daughters psychiatrist the last day if there was any support available for myself and my husband. She replied the Internet. I couldn't believe the response. So here I am again. My daughter had a recent 2 day admission where she had gone completely off the rails over new year drinking possibly drugs boys etc.She eventually came home after I begged her to as I was so afraid of what would happen her.She then went crazy punching walls, banging her head off the wall, kicking ,screaming .Eventually calmed her down and she went into a transfer like state where there was no response but she was breathing and everything. She was also begging me to help her die.All because a boy had finished with her.She had only been with him 1 week. She spent 2 nights in psychiatric unit and within 2 days of discharge has another boyfriend and staying at his flat on first date.I have set boundaries but she doesn't care. She won't listen to any advice.Just does what she wants. Please advise as I don't know where to go from here. Thanks.
