Title: Introducing myself
Post by: Jane doe on January 17, 2016, 04:32:04 AM
Hi listener's.

This is my first post so not to sure if I'm doing right thing doing this yet so will keep it simple.  I am a 56 year old.  Work full-time.  Am a grandmother of 5 grandaughters.  My daughter has BPD who has one of my grandaughters.  An incident happened when she was 14 months old and  her life changed. This incident left me a mother of 3 widowed. Don't want to post anything else yet. Want time to think about things then ask for the help I really need but don't know where to go. I feel this might be the place as I'm thinking there are people out there who live with this and know what I'm going through.  I feel it might be where best answers to questions I have. Sorry was going to keep it simple

Regards jane doe

Hi janedoe

Welcome. I'm new here as well. I joined in oct but stopped due to crisis, silly me as that's when we need the support right? Anyway, back on now and posting regularly. I'm reading through all the information and learning so much. It's really really helping.

I'm 52, have a BPD son, and a bright bushy tailed 15 year old who is aware of what's going on. Bpds returned home mid-Dec and since we've stopped giving him cash and changing our behaviour towards him(learning these new skills) things are finally improving. Slow but positive progress.

I hope you find what you need here. There's a wealth of experience and stories that really get you thinking that you're not alone in this

Good luck

L
