Title: Fake laughter and changing sentences during mirroring. Consciously manipulating?
Post by: thisworld on January 17, 2016, 02:57:48 PM
My ex decided to work on recycling me during an unplanned encounter. He seems to be more genuine in a lot of things but this may be because he thinks being more genuine may win me - he knows juvenile trangulations etc had a negative effect and he lost me. However, there is this fake laughter now. It's so fake it's impossible not to notice. He also started to change the way his sentences go right in the middle depending on what he thinks my reaction may be or depending on my facial expressions he cannot read correctly. Both of these are very uncomfortable for me. I have a feeling that he may be more manipulative than I think. Did you receive this fake laughter, too? Does it mean they are consciously trying to manipulate us?

They really are. Whenever I broke up with my exBPDgf she always tried to use social media to make me jealous by flirting with random guys. She looked like a fool, it was very noticeable because she did post about the breakups. Whenever we got back to each other she used to tell me that she didn't f*ck an another guy meaning that her entire social media campaign was just to play with my feelings.

One word comes to my mind: Cold.
