Title: Things I like since leaving
Post by: ladylee on January 24, 2016, 12:30:19 PM
I get more sleep now, I can focus on my health that needed attention, my precious mementos are not getting thrown and broken or crammed under something in the basement, they are with me being taken care of gently, I have time to take painting classes, nobody is raging at me, I am in an apartment with warm heat because the thermostat is not at 55, the refrigerator is clean, the house stays clean after I clean it, the TV is not on 24/7, I am not worried I am going to get sued because my husband is driving drunk and may kill himself or another, I am not worried I will catch a disease because my husband may be cheating, I feel self respect, I do not have to accompany him to parties I detest. I can make new friends and bring them home.

The more we live to our fullest abilities, the less we need to remind ourselves.

For me, since I have removed myself:

1. Salsa dancing lessons

2. Friends come for dinner

3. I am planning trips to various states and a country for leisure

4. I am doing so well in focusing at work

5. My nutrition has improved

6. I sleep better

7. Business trips without drama

The more I live, the less I need to remind myself with this list. It is coming along!

Thank you, I appreciate the support. I feel like I am really starting over. I moved to an entirely different state, but where my mom lived and i grew up, she passed away. Two close friends who lived here passed on, so there are only really three or four close friends and two siblings, it's tough to get together with them, so I really have to start over without jumping into another relationship.

I think of it like I am moving up a coil of a spring. At first glance, it looks like I am starting over in the same place but actually, I am moving up and can see where I was. We really do learn a little bit more and become a little bit wiser each time. Keep looking forward!
