You can make this about you not her. Your conversation could go some what like the following: Because of MY health, I have a need to live with just my husband. Other people in the house aggravate my situation and my first priority is to care for my health. I know this may be hard for you so we will help you with your situation as long as it does not interfere with ours. Between now and (2or 3 weeks) we will help you find resources however it is ultimately your responsibility to follow though. That said here is a list of apartment resources shelter resources mental health services Social Health resources. Let me know how you would like our help between now and REPEAT THE DATE AGAIN, because then is when you will be moving out. I would hazard from engaging in her questions or banter that is just more ways to manipulate. It wont be easy but it does not sound easy now. |
