Title: My 21 year old daughter has BPD Post by: Jensam4 on February 06, 2016, 11:20:57 AM My relationship with my daughter is suffering. She is always angry with me. My hopes for a wonderful mother/daughter relationship are diminished. Does it ever get better?

Welcome to bpdfamily. BPD is a challenging disorder but it is possible for things to get better. For this to happen it is crucial that the person acknowledges that there is a problem and fully commits to working on making things better. Could you tell us a bit more about your daughter, has she been officially diagnosed with BPD? Is she getting treated for her issues? Seeing your own child suffer isn't easy and I am sorry you are in this situation. Since when has your daughter been suffering and exhibiting BPD traits? What are her most concerning or difficult behaviors? Take care Title: Re: My 21 year old daughter has BPD Post by: lbjnltx on February 07, 2016, 09:31:23 AM Hi jensam4,
Yes, it certainly can get better! Does your daughter live with you? lbj |
