Title: EMDR
Post by: bpdmom1 on February 06, 2016, 09:34:49 PM
Anyone have success with EMDR for BPD?  I'm curious as my daughter started EMDR recently.  She doesn't believe it is working, but so far she has only had one session.  She is resistant to have another session.  She has been having a tough few weeks at her therapeutic boarding school and I'm wondering if it is bringing up some difficult things for her that she might not even be conscious of.

Hi BPDmom1,

No EMDR experience with my daughter though my stepson (military) did have some success with it to manage PTSD.

Here is a topic to explore re EMDR:
