Title: I need help with my 32 yr old daughter who suffers with BPD Post by: Ckone on February 13, 2016, 01:17:28 PM Hello
I'm in need of help dealing with my daughter who suffers with BPD. I read the book I hate you pls don't leave me. And then it all made perfect sense to me. But I need help on how to deal with my girlie. She's very hard to love and I'm exhausted. I'm raising her 5th daughter. Addiction and BPD has ruined our whole family. Our story is a very painful story and I need some support and guidance. Thank you. If not, that's okay. I find, though, that sometimes it is good just to talk and get it out. Raising her 5th daughter sounds like a LOT of work, and addiction is another issue that adds complication. I think as parents too, we also just want to love kids unconditionally -- all family members unconditionally. Some family members make that VERY hard. Just wondering from your perspective -- what do you think would be helpful and what kinds of things would be helpful to hear? I'm guessing platitudes would not be. So I want to see where you are, what more there is to the story, and what kinds of things might help. Welcome here. |
